Hailing from Lyon’s hip-hop scene, the two collectives join forces at the CCNR to bring to life an original artistic form, at the crossroads of their universes. Slam Tour is a celebration of hip-hop culture, an invitation to meet and express oneself, where everyone is welcome!

The La Fougue collective and the Relevant company have been evolving for several years within the same Lyon hip-hop scene, where their paths regularly cross. This proximity has gradually built a strong relationship based on respect for each other’s work and involvement in their respective projects. Their desires and values naturally converge, leading them to initiate a first collaboration in 2022 through Block Parties, festive and federative moments where hip-hop culture is fully expressed.

Today, the two collectives are working together on SLAM TOUR, a creation combining dance and live music, driven by a shared artistic vision. The aim of the project is to create a new and innovative form, at the crossroads of their respective universes, while highlighting local talent. For them, art is a space for expression, but also an invitation to discovery and encounter. Their aim is to create genuine “moments of life” where everyone is welcome.

Their approaches, though different, are complementary. Cie Relevant, a collective of five Lyonnais choreographers and performers, is structured around a strong artistic cohesion born of a shared training path, and defends the values of diversity, community and expression of identity. La Fougue, founded by five passionate multidisciplinary artists, offers events that celebrate hip-hop culture in all its richness: battles, jam sessions, exhibitions… The collective makes authenticity and unconditional welcome its driving forces.

By pooling their energies and sensibilities, they seek to invent a singular, lively and committed art form: the Slam Tour project is the fruit of this shared desire to create differently, combining artistic rigor and a spirit of sharing.
