Battle of chaos

The BATTLE OF CHAOS, whose first edition took place in June 2022, is a hip-hop dance event organized by the Free Styles company, directed by Moncef Zebiri, with musical entertainment by DJ Greezly in partnership with la Demeure du Chaos.

This battle takes place in one of the most unusual and original venues in the region: the Demeure du Chaos, an open-air contemporary art museum located in Saint-Romain-au-Mont-d’Or, a few kilometres from Lyon. This site, which houses 6,300 works and is known for its apocalyptic atmosphere, is the perfect place to merge urban art and hip-hop dance, creating a unique and immersive experience for participants and the public alike.

The battle is free and open to everyone. Schedule:

• The day begins at around 3pm with an introduction to hip-hop dancing, open to children and adults, beginners and experienced dancers alike.
• Starting at 4pm, the dance battle begins with two categories: ALL STYLE (all styles of hip-hop dance) and BREAK DANCE.

A jury composed of professionals is responsible for selecting the winners of the day.
